Benoit Donnet is a full professor at the University of Liège and is responsible for the research conducted in CSE. He initiated the CAFÉ project and its surrounding developments and collaborates with Géraldine Brieven and Lev Malcev, who are pursuing their PhD in computer science education.

The work carried out as part of CAFÉ would not have been possible without the contributions of Simon Liénardy, a former PhD student at ULiège, who worked on the CAFÉ 1.0 source code as part of his doctoral research.
